I'm saying Rick Perry has been the governor of Texas for 12 years and you can't find a Governor of a state that is more pro gun. With this example why did this shooting happen today if he's the governor promoting guns in schools? He's had 12 years to implement his ideas with total voter support.

And I'm not sure anyone needs an AR for any reason
I'm not sure people need birds as pets. Or 80" tv's. Or leather sofas.

But who am I to decide?

What does this have to do with promoting guns in schools? What happened today speaks only to current legislation, not proposed legislation.

Shootings and killings happen every day where I live, so much so that people just start tuning it out. If gun violence is such a big deal, why is it just now after the school schooling in CT that its a big deal with you liberals, and why is it only schools that bother you? We had one off Washington Street just this morning. Why didn't it make national news?

You know why?

Because you only deal in emotions, and so unless it makes headlines and someone gives you a tissue, out of sight out of mind, but you can ban all guns, and tomorrow there's still going to be some teenager who killed another teenager in North BR, because the problem isn't one you want to address, as it resides within the human and not your emotional symbol. Oh hell, but give you an AR15, and you're good for another couple of dozen posts at least berating the piece of metal rather than even addressing the human condition that is killing people off every single day in America.
