This will be the first live UFC event I will have attended since UFC 16 at the Pontchartrain Center. Very excited for the Cerrone/Pettis fight but there are a number of interesting matchups on the prelims and they main event is overall pretty decent.

I've never been to an event, and probably won't for a long time.

page doesn't want to fight because Silva only puts page against boring arse wrestlers.
as much as I like Rampage, he has become such a little bitch, it's ridiculous.

He cries about someone kicking him
He cries about someone wrestling him
He cries about someone mixed martial arts on him
He cries about his endorsements
He cries about what the UFC pays him
He cries about the American fans
He cries about his opponents
He cries about his PPV numbers
He cries about those who talk more than he does (ie: Chael)

Some are legit gripes, but he has turned into a huge crybaby....

he also cries about cutting weight and having to sacrifice stuff to fight. The guy is a great fighter if his head is on straight but I don't see him doing to well this weekend. It's still a possibility though because glover will bang.

I hate the flyweight division.

Maybe I just don't care for many of the fighters in that division...

He hasn't been a great fighter in years. He's been a lazy, one dimensional fighter.

Me too. I'd rather watch boxing at that weight

Uncle Creepy is ok... don't really have much of an opinion on him. I could miss every one of his fights and not really care.

Rampage is going to get the breaks beat off of him.

I honestly think that Glover will test the waters with Rampage, get caught and start trying to get the fight to the ground.

I may be in the minority, but I'm going to take Jackson.

Fun fact:

Rampage hasn't finished a fight since 2008 against Wanderlei

LINK

Great tribute video to Matt Hughes that the UFC did.

Starts around the 17:45 mark of the video.

Shocking to hear the comments by GSP, Penn, Serra etc...

Man of all these people you can tell Serra didn't like Hughes at all and really had some great things to say about Hughes.

It was controversial. Rampage was "controlling the octagon" for the first 2 rounds. Neither fighter did anything in those rounds. Very boring. Rampage would lunge toward machida to hit him and machida would get away. Machida would try to stick and move but wasn't very effective.

3rd round started the same, but from what I remember, Machida kicked Rampage's arse for the last 2 minutes of the round.

So Machida won that round, and dished out the most punishment in 2 minutes than Rampage did the whole fight.

But Rampage won the first 2 rounds based on control only.

I remember the fight but really nothing about it. I remember Couture being pissed that Ramapage won saying the judges sucked it up on that one.
