Watch the NFLN Sr bowl stuff today. Yesterday They were talking about a LT from Central Freaking Michigan being a first rounder, maybe the #2 LT in the draft.
Ole Miss is still in the SEC, a dominant player from there will have a high enough profile. CBS may broadcast the LSU-OM game because of LSU, but OM is still on TV.

You're missing my point, I started off by saying he ends up in the nfl regardless....did you not?
But you play and dominate on a big stage it does show the scouts something. It isn't a major factor in evaluations but it does help. You don't think a guy like t'eo greatly benefitted from playing well in front of a national audience? It's a factor.
He could also produce more here because he won't be the sole focus of the opposing team here vs. Ole Miss. He'd benefit by being surrounded by better talent

I agree that Nkemdiche will be a high draft pick regardless of where he goes, and Ole Miss does have some impressive defenders in the league (Willis, Hardy, etc.), but LSU will offer him more exposure.
LSU currently has 41 guys in the NFL, nine of which are defensive linemen. Ole Miss has 21, four of which are defensive linemen. LSU will more than likely have a record number of guys drafted this season, will have more nationally televised games, and has two vacancies at DE. He'll be good anywhere, but it doesn't get any better than LSU for his position.
