I've got to vote for T-Coon's. Just tore up some of their smothered rabbit today. Delicious.

There's a short film called, "Raised on Rice and Gravy," which features several local plate lunch places. Every time I watch it I want to go to Creole Lunch House. Still haven't made it there.

Im not sure if you are close to broussard but shade tree cafe and field of dreams have really good plate lunches
