This is what I was thinking. This class is seriously stacked. I haven't been this excited for a class in a couple years. With the addition of willis and goodman hopefully we are complete.

White has been making his case for a 5th star the past few months, and the All American game stamped it for him. Had a great week, not a bad day at all, and plays fearless and went up against some of the bigger WRs all week and held his own. His special teams ability is what makes him diff though. Extremely dangerous with the ball in his hands.
It seems like there is more to Frank Herron than originally thought. Rivals analyst Mike Farrell said they were expecting to see a 6'3 235lb DE show up at the All American game. He showed up and was more like 6'5 260lb with great hands, agility, and athleticism. Still kind of raw, but has every tool you need to become a big time player. Extremely excited about Herron considering we just lost our top 3 DEs. He should be rotating in early on in the season.
Congrats to both guys 
Also, DeSean Smith moved up 24 spots to #68 overall. He was the most reliable WR at the All American game.

Indeed...I'm hoping to see Priest in P&G next year at the least...I'm just thinking Goodman may be the anchor that keeps Willis close to home. Not that I don't think they would both have a home at LSU, but here's hoping that Goodman can make the trip to truly know his options.

This. 247 is ridiculous when ranking Bama guys. To be fair though, S&S have great input and LSU benefits from 247 as well; just not nearly as much.
Don't be fooled with this Rivals update. There were still Bama bumps in this rivals update. A few are just hidden with guys that are considered heavy Bama leans currently uncommitted. Von Bell moved up nearly 100 spots to 5 star status. Also, Alvin Kamara, made a significant jump as well, to 47 overall.
I really don't care at this point. Bama will get thier bumps, be ranked higher in recruiting, and LSU will continue to field a team as talented. Evidence is in the games played on the field. The only non-competitive game between the 2 was a game that should have never happened.

And indeed, it's very nice to see the Tigers with a couple of 5 stars on the recruiting boards...not that stars have anything to do with it in the end...but props to White and Herron for earning them.

I think Herron will be number 2 Strongside DE behind RN. thsi is great news.
If we dont get RN this means we got the second best, Cant ask much more than that from our coaching staff.

That's what it appears to be after looking at the position rankings. I'll take it.
ETA: He'll likely be the 3rd SDE, actually. Chris Jones (Miss St. commit) got the biggest bump of anyone. Went from out of the top 250 and a 3* to the #20 overall player and a 5*.
