re: OFFICIAL Academy Reports/ Online Ammo Deals & Availability

Wished we had one of those besides just for school crap. I'd love to have the extra 10% I'd pay in taxes to go towards another item.

here's a chart on the price trend of M855 penetrator...

lately local wal-marts have been having Federal American Eagle Lake City M855 penetrator aka "green tip" for $447 for 1000 rd. bulk cases...

What was the reason for the spike in late 2011? I don't recall a specific event off hand.

thanks...I got some yesterday too...took $33 from my rewards to get the price down to $66

today's order timed perfect as my monthly rewards just posted again... another $30 off

used ClubFive in the code line each time for $5 shipping... so that's a pretty good score for me over two days...

Seeing 5.56 everywhere in bulk now in Monroe/West Monroe.

Found 1000 rds of American Eagle for $530.00 plus tax(583.00) which is about .58/rd

Found another place that has 150/rds of American Eagle for $70 plus tax($77.00) which is about .51/rd

What's the going rate per round right now? I am checking a few other places in the area.

Sorry, I don't want to buy on-line. It brings a 'paper trail' back to me.

That is damn near double what you can get them for now. $0.35-0.37 for brass is somewhat common now. Occasionally I see a $0.32 deal pop up

Yeah, I know. I am trying to get .223/5.56 brass under .40/rd. It still seems a little over-priced.

I don't want to buy on-line. Call me a little paranoid but I don't want a paper trail coming back to me.

Definately paranoid. I hope you are at least paying with cash in person then.

Let TTT (AKA Lord of War) purchase the ammo, then he can sell it to you for a slight mark up...say $50-$75 a case? Everybody wins!

Shit, if this guy wanted to give me $400 cash for every case I could provide him, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
