What was the reason for the spike in late 2011? I don't recall a specific event off hand.

thanks...I got some yesterday too...took $33 from my rewards to get the price down to $66
today's order timed perfect as my monthly rewards just posted again... another $30 off

Seeing 5.56 everywhere in bulk now in Monroe/West Monroe.
Found 1000 rds of American Eagle for $530.00 plus tax(583.00) which is about .58/rd
Found another place that has 150/rds of American Eagle for $70 plus tax($77.00) which is about .51/rd
What's the going rate per round right now? I am checking a few other places in the area.

Yeah, I know. I am trying to get .223/5.56 brass under .40/rd. It still seems a little over-priced.
