whew...glad you had something else to do...a family issue came up that had us in all out scramble mode...the next three months are gonna be the most stressful time we've ever been through...hoping I can get out there to blow off some steam/wind down soon...

Today is the day to hit Walmart. College had M22 .22lr, Rem.22 225ct, WWB 100rd bx in 9,40, and .45 / .223 Fed 100rd/bx.

I went to a wal mart sunday and found winchester 9mm that were 100 round boxes for $24.00 (24 something). I bought 600 rounds. There was a 3 box limit. Lucky I had the wife.

kids being forced to change schools since we moved out of district...schools they will go to are crap with bottom feeders...trying to work every angle we can for the next three months to keep them where they are...don't want to uproot them from their longtime friends...My wife and I have been sick to our stomach since we got the letter...every time we look at our kids or anything just triggers that sick feeling...We refuse to send them to those schools...we may just have to send them to lake castle if we are unsuccessful in our efforts...

Gotcha man. Yeah, we're not too happy with the district we're in also. My son does't start kindergarten for another 2 years though so we have a little time.
Like you, though, if we don't find what we like, we may go to Lake Castle also.
Considering the $7500/yr we pay in daycare right now, Lake Castle is a STEAL! LOL, but free public school education sounds even better if we can get into the right schools.

I wish I had the money to start an Academy here. The Walmarks around here never get ammo, and the only other store here is Dicks, which from what I've heard has been hurting the past couple months.

This threads slow death further evidence that ammo except for .22 is readily available for days instead of hrs now.

Yep, ammo is coming back. Its at a higher price, but at least its coming back. I can still sell me some .223 for 0.65/cpr though
