What a shitty thing to be arguing over. Every height listed for the recruits in that pic must be off then because Spears is up there with Jones and Beckwith and not far from Desean and Boutte.
Btw, Reuben's official combine height was 6'2-7/8". He's closer to 6'3 than 6'2.

I think the star system is flawed in many ways. Guys like Honey Badger, and Claiborne just blended in with all the talent around Louisiana. If they were playing high school in Iowa they probably would be 5 stars. 5 stars stand out against the competition. So if we have a 5 star recruit out of Louisiana, we better get em. Solid pick up.

I look at St. Aug as having plenty of athletes on the field at one time, including a DB that was a JR this year that I believe LSU is looking at, and Spears went 3-117yds and 2 TDs against them.

For some reason I don't know why in that game everytime Spears made an explosive play Roberts wasn't on him. He did his thing tho

Its easy to re-rank guys based on camps and offers. Go back and google the name Mathieu and see how many hits u see before the LSU offer. Heres two that even after their updates contradict ur statement. ESPN -State Rank = Not even ranked at all .

yep, guys like p.j., hurst, mo, ridley, quin johnson, logan, kelvin sheppard, perry riley, lafel, barrow, williford, Josh D., taj jones, d mccray, james stampley, lavar edwards, Wing, Alleman, jalen mills, pep livingston, harry coleman, ciron black, trindon holliday, ect. didn't contribute at all.
