LA Area 6 extended rifle season for DMAP?

I've been hearing that area 6 DMAP participants can hunt with a rifle until Feb. 15th. Any truth to this OB'ers? Sorry for typos, posting from my stand.

Never heard of this and I didn't see anything about it on the DMAP section of the LA Wildlife and Fisheries website.
You could simply call LAWF on Monday and ask them, would be interested in knowing the answer.
