I think they're saying "whoever is behind this (be it mainstream media or not) did a really poor job of covering their tracks and is pretty arrogant to try"...but personally, I have no opinion on the matter.

Manti Teo thing totally slipped the media. Do you think journalists are still in it to deliver truth. They are trying to shape the truth to how they want it.

The link you provided acknowledges the fact below, but it is still an odd fact that has not been further explained/reported on. The Newton paper also suggests he was armed. Below is a quote from the Newton Bee regarding it.
quote:
A man with a gun who was spotted in the woods near the school on the day of the incident was an off-duty tactical squad police officer from another town, according to the source.

I'm still waiting for you to provide the 5 witnesses you mentioned last week who had consistent stories about aurora that indicated more than one shooter. You promised but like most of your promises you haven't delivered

I think there's a lot of good journalism and most journalists aren't trying to do anything other than deliver the news. Like anything else, there's always the potential for deception and mistakes, good and bad. I think that's what happened with the Manti Teo thing...deception. But it wasn't the fault of the media.

I agree it is odd, maybe he heard the call out on his 2-way, then proceeded to the area to see if he could be any assistance. If he is a tactical officer he would recognize the wooded area as giving better cover to observe what was going on. If you've ever dealt with government entities, you'll KNOW they are far too inefficient to carry out a conspiracy of this magnitude.

This comment is really a fine example of just not getting it.. It's not the full federal government that is responsible for 'conspiracies'.

I can't speak for mograyback but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me when people are criticized for bringing up questions or observations of heuristic value. It's also is understandable for some people to not want to want to understand this type of thinking.

So, is that the guy the police hauled out of the woods wearing a black shirt and camo pants, that said "I didn't do it" to the parents as they police hauled him past them and placed him in the back of a squad car for a period of time? This one event has strange written all over it.

But he is not just asking questions. He has continually brought up the same questions, and his questions are answered. He then disappears and pops on on another thread asking the same questions. Unless you answer the questions in such a way that agrees with his half baked theories of conspiracy he is not satisfied. Further, like he has already done in this thread, when someone asks for any sort of evidence he claims he posted the links before and doesn't want to do it again. For example last week when I pointed out that eyewitness testimony is suspect, he said that in Colorado he could show 5 people who said the same thing. When I asked for proof, he eventually provided links to two people saying different things that didn't show what he claimed it did. When myself and another poster kept calling him out on it, he went to another thread and tried the same bullshite, and basically pretended the first thread never existed.

I watched the video and I thought it showed a lot of evidence that is very telling. The guy being run down and arrested in the woods, who was armed, is enough to let me know that something was wrong with the whole story. That wasn't inaccurate reporting, it was being made up as the day wore on. This has the imprint of the US secret service all over it. Inept!
