His offer list re-defines the phrase "under the radar". I hope Les knows something nobody else does.

Definitely an under the radar guy. But if he is able to turn it on, we could have snuck a good one in. Seems to have a lot of the tools needed. And I don't think we would be shocked if our recruiting staff found another diamond in the rough. Would be nice to finally get one at receiver

I read on some site that Spears was a 3 year star in basketball and the coaches asked him to come out for football his senior year. He played 1 year but was great. Got better through the season and was college material by the last few games. Good pickup, hard worker.

Not even close. This kid can catch and has great potential as a RECEIVER. Armand was an elite ATHLETE, but not receiver

At first, I was like "Meh, a 3 star?? We don't need to be wasting the little spots we have left on 3 star players..."

Then I watched his youtube video and I'm thinking we have found another diamond in the rough. Great talent evaluation.

This is a kid that we would be kicking ourselves over in a few years for letting get away.

Geez, it doesn't matter how good he turns out to be. He is only a 3 star and that doesn't help us win the recruiting national championship. So I say this was a big mistake.

I am happy with this pick! I saw Holy Cross play only once and I kept asking "who is that receiver?" He certainly looked the part of a big time recruit but I had never heard his name mentioned in LSU recruiting. Seeing his commitment is truly exciting to me because I see a good WR with a great skillset that will be able to immediately fill a void in our passing game. So for all those thinking that the staff is settling, I say they saw the same thing I saw. That game was against St Aug and he had 3 receptions for 117 yards and 2 TDs! Also made some good plays on defense. Probably the game that put him on the radar with the staff.

Curious to see how he will be used. Nothing from his film jumps off, but appears to have good hands.

He can definitely come down with the ball in traffic!

Armand Williams 2.0

I say Dwayne Bowe 2.0....Bowe too was very raw coming out of high school and not highly recruited. He is about the same build at this pointe. This guy has great concentration, hands, and he's a great athlete... intangibles you cannot teach.
