Magic Hat Stout

Easy drinking, highly available. Not super complex, but a decent brew. To take a dip into the dark majesty, from your typical US macros, as a first step from Newkie towards the darker world- I recommend the Magic Hat as a intermediary to further exploration.

Funny, I didn't care for that one at all. Old Rasputin and Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout are more my speed.

Founders breakfast stout

If you don't like it, then you won't like stouts. Simple as that

You can't get an easier drinking stout than a Guinness poured right. If you can't "handle" that or don't like it then give it up. I know it sounds harsh but I'm not kidding. Let it sit for as long as you can stand it. Order a Guinness and a pint of some other beer or ale that you like. Drink the ale while the Guinness "cures".
When I do that I can hardly remove the pint glass from my lips once I come into contact with that chocolaty beer wonderfulness. I have to make myself stop or I'll just chug the whole thing. I've tried hundreds of kinds of tasty beers but nothing I've ever had really beats it.

This. If you don't like Guiness you don't like the style.

Heard this as well. Will definitely be on my list if I ever make it to Europe.

Guinness!!!!

Best beer in the world. I will not even attempt to desecrate its greatness with a clone.

I also enjoy Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout, Young's Double Chocolate, and The Left Hand Milk Stout.

Was not overly impressed with the YETI one, but I understand it has a cult following at some places like the BRC in Houston.
