The awful umpring in the 1997 NLCS game

I don't know why this was done today, but a guy I know linked an article on facebook about the horrendous strike zone given to Livan Hernandez that day. Again I'm not sure why the article was just written today, but some of these calls are so bad it almost makes me

He was calling a strike every time that pitch was outside. Hitters needed to adjust.

If it was against any other team I'd feel bad. But the Braves used to benefit from a huge strike zone for years. frick em

Please tell me that somewhere in this thread there is a Braves fan complaining about a wide strike zone in the 90s. That sort of irony could really get me through the long weekend.
