August ...save your money. I've had better filets at Outback. The course meal is kinda cool but not even close to being worth it. Nice wine/bar selection and wait staff is one of the best, but save your money on one August trip and spread it around the other restaurants in the city.

I swear these "lists" are paid off for advertising.

Not really. Only a few on that list fit the bill.

Sorry you had a rough meal at August, but maybe that kind of place isn't for you.

I agree 100%. I've been to August many times and every time, huge disappointment.

August is generally considered the best or one of the top 3 restaurants in the city. By virtually everyone.

Either you just had extremely shitty luck (it happens even at world-class places) or you have shitty taste.

Every time I have gone it has been nothing short of special.

Go again, don't be a fricking tool and get the filet. Instead do the tasting menu with wine pairings. If you don't like that...I don't know what to tell you.
