Getting away from the bank and fishing deep structure, I have no idea what I'm doing out there. Start wearing my life jacket all the time when outboard is on. Get better at left handed casting/ flipping/ pitching. Make more trips to Lake Fork.

I really hope so, but I don't have much faith. It seems like I hear the same shite every year with nothing ever coming from it. Throwing back 13.5" bass ALL DAY without putting anything in the icechest is frustrating as hell.

Last year was my first year fishing down there. Id throw back a ton of 13" fish but id bring home 5-10 keepers. What I liked about this summer was having keepers mixed in with small ones then as it got hotter the fishing slowed way down but size picked up

Not nearly arse often as the spillway/verret but I usually go a good bit. Last year I didn't go much. Definitely a fun place to fish though. There's always a million people out there but they're almost always stacked up in the school board canal and there's plenty fish to be caught elsewhere.
