So you think it is wrong to film people who are voluntarily eating scat and then share it with other people who WANT to see it? Or are you being sarcastic?
I'm overlooking the bestiality part of this because he is on trial for obscenity. Not having sex with animals but because he did something that a normal person finds gross. He harmed no-one/nothing (again excluding the bestiality) but just didn't fit into a nice "mold" so therefore he goes to jail. That is messed up.

Hey Wiki. 
Not too bad, not too bad. Unfortunately I see so often, on both sides of the aisle, people wanting what they agree with to be considered freedom, but what they want controlled legislated. I personally am a huge proponent of freedoms for everyone whether I agree with what they are doing or not.

Just because you think it's perverted and a mentally ill fetish doesn't make it so. Hence the free speech protection. Each person gets to decide for him or herself what is gross and what is not. It is not for one person or one group of people to decide for everyone. If it bothers you, don't want watch it. If you don't like what someone says, tune them out.

Commercial speech, while protected, is not given the same deference as political speech. Saying whatever I want in an advertisement, for example, is not protected in the same way as expressing political ideas in the public square.
However, having said that, as long as safeguards are in place to protect children from involvement and exposure to such material - and no one is harmed or coerced into participating - I'm in favor of adults viewing or consuming pretty much whatever "art" or entertainment they choose.
I am generally considered very conservative, although I become more libertarian every year.

I already said the guy shouldn't be sent to jail.
My issue is that he cloaks his paraphilia in the 1st Amendment. It appears that you agree with me at least on that.
