Exactly. That was a solid basis for a system of governance. Just when they made the Constitution they gave a little too much power to the federal government .. and it has subsequently grown more and more.

Where am I going wrong? What else would you have someone like me do? I love our country and respect your right to voice your opinion. Why is it that there seems to be some fantasy that we will have a Utopia where everyone gets a piece of everything? This is not what the real world looks like. It would be nice but this simply is not going to happen. Making sure everyone has their basic needs met should always be our goal but some will simply not make it no matter what anyone does.
