I actually think it's pretty sound, but here are my immediate observations:

-LT, I really hope Hawkins is ready for big time.
-DE, I LOVE all of those guys, esp the top 4. Sky is the limit. I mean they won't be M&M from day 1 but damn, they gon' be good.
-Didn't Phillips, Queintin Thomas, and Granier RS?
-Was Diarse a S from the get go?
-Where's Mickey Johnson? Jerwick Sandolph? Attrition candidate?
-I wonder if T'White takes Collins LCB spot.
-I hope Chavis moves Barrow to MLB, think he's do well there. Let the faster guys run around in space out there.

What say you?

I like Barrow to MLB a lot. He had a great year last year. Not sold on these DEs...think our line will struggle big time but LBs should be awesome

LSU has been this way for a long time, but that 3 man rotation of RB is sick!

Quite a few of the guys like Edinborough that he mentions as Sophomores are actually RSFR.

Other than that, it looks pretty good. A LOT of guys on the defense got experience last year and played well. With another offseason of Spring and Summer practice will develop these guys even more.

Not a bad attempt, but filled with a few errors. Didn't realize Boutte slimmed down to 200.

Diarse is listed on the new roster as WR #88, so it looks like that's where he'll get a look first

Does anyone have info on this? MJ was a four star with a great offer sheet. I was hoping he was ready. I had heard that QT was the more impressive, but if MJ gets passed by three true freshman, as Scott predicts, he is indeed a flop (pace, Les)

We are going to have some bruisers in our back field next season:

No. 33 Jeremy Hill 6-2 235, SO
No. 04 Alfrd Blue 6-2, 220, SR
No. 27 Kenny Hilliard 5-11, 231, JR
FB
No. 44 JC Copeland 6-1, 272, SR
No. 43 Connor Neighbors 5-10, 236, JR

I hope our LB's can bulk up a bit, they seem a little light. Another thing that jumps out is the youth on our defense. We will be stout on that side of the ball for the foreseeable future.

If the O-line can get it shite together next season I think it will look like 2011 all over again. Excet I think we will have better QB play.

The way White has looked, he may be starting over Jalen Collins by the third or fourth game if not sooner

Strange how things are in college football

After 2011 it looked like Hilliard was going to be one of our go to backs. Now he's going to have to scrap and fight all off season just to get some carries.

If our LT is any good, I think our offense has potential.

Defense looks pretty stout, but there might be a drop off on the front 4

Yea, we all hope Hawkins is ready for LT, would be nice to have a guy grab that spot to solidify the line.

Sure hope Alexander gets down from that 350lbs.

Everything points to Diarse starting at WR

Make or break for M Johnson. I think Freak, Ego, and Q Thomas will hold it down but need MJ and/or Gilmore for depth.

Don't know much about Sandolph except for his special teams play.

What about D. Raymond? Still too light in the britches as my grandpa used to say. Between him, Thomas, and Holmes, need 1 or 2 of these guys to be ready.

Barrow should be the natural fit at MLB.

I wondered last year if L. Collins was at guard because they thought he was best there, or if it was a matter of Chris Faulk having left tackle locked down. Now that Faulk is leaving, I wonder if Collins might get a look there. Not saying it should happen. Maybe Dandy Don's choice-- Hawkins-- might be better suited. Just curious.

I'm thinking fehoko fanaika comes in a lot next season at either LT or G. He is a bruiser in the run game
