I can only imagine. The other night when Walter found the old tape and it showed him with "Olive" as a little girl it blew our mind! And then when he was crying and looking at the headstone in the graveyard....No way we were expecting Peter's name to be on it!
Not happy about Charlie just getting killed though. Thought he was a good character. Now we have that shapeshifting mofo in his body...sucks.

damn.. it actually ended up being a good thing.. my freakin mass air flow sensor went out, and while it can't "hurt" my car.. it's not good to drive 150 miles with it out.

Peter or Walter. Walter knows he has to sacrifice himself, his brilliant curiosity would make it an easy way to go out. Peter's already done it so he knows what to expect. Plus if the plan works things will go back to how they should have been and Peter will be restored.
That's one thing I'm trying to figure out. Walter is supposed to die but time will be restored, so wouldn't Walter as well?

Perhaps he is not sacrificing his life in the literal sense, but to save the world he has to sacrifice the good relationship he had with his son. Could be the reason the Observer child gave him back the memories of his good times with Peter in the other reality. A gift before his sacrifice.

like psych said.. think about a world without Observers, Peter gets cured on the Red side.. Walter doesn't have to go to the other side, Walter never raises our Peter, the Peter we know.. never exist.
