Amazing how many people became longtime 49er fans overnight. Every other conversation is peppered with a 'omg, we're going to win the Super Bowl'. Most of these individuals can't name more than 5 players on the team.

Grinds my gears.

Same here in ATL. Happens every year around playoff time around here, though. They have very few fans during the regular season.

ETA: The Falcons, obviously.

Happens everywhere when a team becomes a winner. Not sure why it's a surprise.

When I worked in Salinas every little gangbanger kid from Mexico sported a Raiders jacket. Have they made the switch as well?

Happens in los angeles every year for the Lakers. All the bitches post stuff on Facebook when they never even mention the lakers any other time other than in may. Last summer was tough because, being a king fan, i had to deal with all the bandwagoners during our cup run

When I met Niners fans who appear flakey, I quickly turn the conversation to the Tim Rattay and Ken Dorsey days. Usually they can vaguely remember Jeff Garcia, then I go with Charlie garner, Jose Cortez, JJ stokes, Tia streets, etc. Eventually they admit to missing the past decade somehow.

What the hell does this have to do with Te'o?

This happens everywhere at this time of year.

I'm cheering for San Fran. Love what Jim Harbaugh is doing. I'd love to see S.F. vs Bal in Super Bowl.
