False. The problem is an uninformed, fickle, easily swayed populace that has been empowered with the ability to vote the politicians out of office despite a grave amount of ignorance in most matters. The politicians then try to walk a very fine line where half measures, inaction and blending in with the crowd is rewarded with reelection. I have no problem with the power vested in the people, rather the lack of respect the people hold for that power.

AMEn!! Preach it brother...it is all about personal responsibility. The problem isn't with politicians, politicians are only doing what politicians do. The problem is with the populace who is more interested in reality TV and griping about others short comings and weaknesses than they are in doing away with their own. Blaming a political party for doing what it has to do to stay in power is like blaming a gazelle for feeding a lion. When someone is bold enough to say "take MY pork away, please" and the pork is still shoved down their throats then you can blame that on the politicians, but as long as we love OUR pork but despise the pork of our neighbors we are going get exactly what we deserve.

True. They're both the same. One example is Paul Ryan voting for the fiscal cliff bill after all that fiscal conservative BS he spouted. Yeah right. Another is McCain stripping a provision from the NDAA that would've required a warrant for indefinite detainment. We've already known the democrats are authoritian a-holes now the republicans are showing their true colors now and joining them. frick them all.

True, but the Democrats and Republicans are simply a mirror reflection of Americans, so in essence, the problem with America is it's full of Americans, Seriously though, it really is our problem, for if Americans truly did have all the principles we like to hang our hat on when we say how great America is, we would at the very least show up to the polls to vote and be somewhat informed on the issues, as well as not have to rely upon the MSM to inform us of what we should think, but rather rely upon the Constitution, and the words of our founding fathers. Instead, what you find, even in spite of the fact that the answers are just a key stroke google search away, a very apathetic, lazy, super ignorant, and disengaged group of people who are very very very easily persuaded to and fro with emotional bull shite from people with agendas in Washington, and the MSM propaganda.
