This. I mentioned this a lot yesterday, but I just don't get why people are still struggling with this. Once you accept that this is an elaborate ruse to hide a poor kid's unwillingness to admit he is gay, all of the questions/conflicts fall away.

I really don't get why he's still trying to cover it up. Regardless on what really happened, this guy is the biggest loser I can think of in decades, so his rep can't get any worse. Pretty much his defense is that he is the stupidest mother fricker walking the face of the earth.
Coming out and saying that he's gay and this was all a big coverup would probably save his skin somewhat, since most gay people tend to do this before coming out. Just do a sob story about the toughness on being a gay football player, and he will probably look slightly better as a result.
If he did it because he's an absolute lying narcissist who wanted the Heisman at all costs, then I still think he would look better than saying that he's basically too dumb to be left alone at home and need internet protection. I really can't wait to see what the stand-up comedians are going to do to this guy in a month or so.

Apparently Pat Forde, who's been carrying Teo's water like many other top writers, wrote an article last night complaining about Shabazz Muhammad's Gucci backpack.
Questioning Teo about made up people = Bad
Questioning a kid, who actually isn't poor, about a backpack = Good

Anyway I noticed when he says to Katie, "I mean.. What would you do Katie?" He looks pretty damn gay.

yep. i hadn't ever seen teo before, hadn't heard his voice. when i saw a clip from that interview, my first thought was that he's gay. reading into the story, the fabricated-beard-that-got-out-of-control theory is the only one that remotely explains everything that went on.
