How do we know that those were recordings from Te'o's phone? How do we know that those recordings weren't made after Deadspin broke the story? Why would the Post rely on the word of unnamed sources?
Sick that this whole fiasco started because "journalists" failed to do basic fact-checking...and STILL new versions come out without basic fact-checking.

I'm completely and utterly confused. Why would Tuiasosopo's lawyer claim his client was the originator of Lennay's voice when he actually isn't?

because everyone is lying to protect Te'o as gay.
the problem is there are SO MANY lies on the board right now, that whatever explanation gets floated doesnt work because of the other lies.
It has truly gone full retard. Only the truth that he is gay will clear it up.

With all these stories, they've worn me down to the point I don't give a damn.
And this might be a good lesson for PR disaster control. Every day come out with a different more ridiculous version of "the truth" until people don't care anymore.

I disagree.
It's actually terrible PR when looking at all these inconsistencies.
If anything, they are winning because of the media.
Said it before and I'll say it again, first objective of a good PR firm is to gain back trust. 0 trust has been gained because I think we all can agree Te'o is a lying sack of shit

It was so fricking obvious watching his interview with Katie yesterday that the dude was lying.
There were numberous times where he would forget what he was "supposed" to say....and he would just pause and act like he was really upset. And then he would just say some shite like "as long as my family is ok, I am ok".
It was such BS and made me sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
