I find most of the blaming and finger pointing comes from outside DC. If you look at the last three eits, the only one that really bothers me is the sweep to Tampa just cuz we played like such dogshit. Habs was just a super hot goalie playing out of his gourd, and last year's run was a coin flip with what I felt was the best team in hockey. Sucked to lose, but it wasn't a systemic failure.

I was pissed with how they used Ovie last year, but Hunter was always a stopgap coach until they found a longterm answer. Hunter was a midseason fill in, which he did as a favor to the organization.

Cats with an empty netter. Rangers going down. The last two weeks, the teams 5-9 in the East couldn't lose. Tonight, all of them lost, snapping win streaks for every single one of those teams.
It was just like they couldn't all stay hot, right? Ottawa is the big winner tonight by not playing.
