1) Is icing essentially the same as offsides in soccer?
2) What constitutes goalie interference?
I like this goalie for the Blue Jackets for some reason.

Somewhat. No offensive player can cross the blue line before the puck. However, it's not offside until an offensive player touches it.

Basically interfering with the goalie while he's in the crease.
