Christianity is a form of mythology, and it involves a god. I am seriously over playing the semantic game with you. You aren't accomplishing anything here and just wasting my time. I'm seriously leaving now.

Religious views should not be taught in public schools. Schools should teach topics with factual and scientific backings. Creationism does not fit the bill. Every bit of time wasted on faith based prophecies is wasted tax dollars. It is also detrimental to society in more ways than one.

There are a plethora of theories that fall under chemistry. Nice try to put words in my mouth again, though.
The law specifically states all scientific theories, but you chose to brings up Chemistry because it wasn't mentioned by name. As if that somehow validates your overreaction.

No, you seem to be a pretty hate-filled person. It's ok, this is a safe place.

Soon after the act was passed, some of his teachers began to not just supplement existing texts, but to rid the classroom of established science books altogether.
This is not supported in the law. If he really cared (and really why should he at this point?), he should be pushing for enforcement instead of pissing on anyone that thinks differently than him.

Teachers attempt to throw out universal scientific theories
They're teaching universal scientific theories in high school these days? Crazy.

No. You and I have had this conversation before (if I remember correctly). I'm a Christian that also fully embraces most aspects of the modern theory of evolution as probable. Do I doubt some of the claims made? Sure, but it is overall a sound scientific theory.

No problems, then. I just cringe whenever I hear someone state 'just a theory' in regards to a scientific theory, which is entirely different than a common theory.

Why is it you can combine science and religion, but the op can't? Because he is far, far, far, far, far more close-minded than you are.

So if I'm a math teacher can I bring my own supplemental materials to teach to my class or does this just pertain to science class? I'm thinking about spearheading the 2+2=5 Movement

and I cringe whenever someone considers objective observation as non-Science. Sort of relegates much of Astronomy to Foreign Language Study? Relegates a Dichotomous Tree Analysis of a new territory as literary study? Cringe . . .

No no no no. You've got it wrong! If you're an ""enlightened"" warmist, you can teach AlGore AGW bull shite to my kids . . . unfettered. That's the idea! Then . . . . . . . . . . . . . you can pull the plug on anyone who raises the scientific impossibility of the AGW idiocy because you have no requirement to support Critical Thinking.
