I was just disappointed in the makeup--I'm a Marvel guy anyway. Last week's offerings were great. This week's were weak as hell.

The worst part was, except for the pieces I liked best, the reason none screamed Super Hero because most had no positive visuals to them. The looks, and the models in the makeup, screamed angry. Super Heroes are usually supposed to give off a feeling of idealism, which most of these lacked. And those elements of super heroes come across at Marvel as much as DC.

The problem is that superheroes are too big for one person. All of them had a lot of stuff that needed to be done and they really needed a second pair of hands. They needed more fabrication, more sculpting, and more paint than they actually had applied. As a resulat, all of them came off sloppy. And they weren't creative at all, IMO.

In addition to the above, many of the artists feel the pressure to sculpt something elaborate and show off for the judges. That really isn't necessary, or desirable, for many superheroes. It comes off too Halloweenesque.
How did the Korean girl survive? That is what I want to know. Skin was showing around her edges, and her model had a big hole in his back. How was she safe? Michael's might have been bad--how can you not sculpt a renaissance doctors mask, but at least it was complete.

I;m a little burnt out on 3 seasons in such a short time. I am taking a break. I can't stand Hayley Westmoreland. She's so fake. At least Probst comes off as real and genuine on Survivor. A lot of redundancies on this show too. Glenn is such a tool.

I like to watch the first 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes. The rest of it can be seen in every episode.
