Yeah, some of the challenges are getting overdone, but I do enjoy this show. There isn't a whole lot of reality or artificial drama. It's all about the makeup. I did not like that they brought back a contestant last year. That pissed me off. I hope they don't do that again.

I've heard good things about this show. Maybe I'll give it a watch. What channel does it come on?

The premiere is at 8 pm on SyFy. It's an hour and a half show tonight. Looks like the replay is at 10 after an episode of Total Blackout aka Black People Screaming in the Dark.

ETA: They are showing a marathon of last season up until the premiere tonight. So all day makeup and applications!

Best reality show. Unscripted. Ideas start with vivid imagination and end up as a costume. LOVE THIS SHOW.

Love this show. We are watching last years right now. We watched the whole season and missed the finale

Cool. I'll be watching. Every week they have to create makeup for a different situation?

I haven't watched it in a while, but they still have the judge who looks like a member of Korn? That dude cracks me up.

Essentially. It's Top Chef for makeup artists. They have a flash (quickfire) challenge that if won gives an advantage. Then they have an elimination challenge. There are some very talented people that come through this show, and all are working in the film makeup industry today. The guest judges are also a pretty impressive array of make up artists, directors, writers, and artists.

As a kid that devoured Fangoria and wanted to be an actor, I eat this show up as an adult.

Fat boys should not wear tight, see thru mesh shirts, but he does. It's glorious.

He tries so hard to be a serious bad-arse. And I can picture him in his car singing along with Taylor Swift and Kelly Clarkson songs on the radio at the top of his lungs.

Jesus, these goblib makeups are kinda badass. I think we have a good cast this season.

Except the Volcano...that one is kinda crappy.

There is only 1 Face off. And it has 2 of the best actors of all time in it.

The Ice Goblin was my favorite.

The rest were all good except the swamp and volcano

Yeah the Volcano was just an abortion from start to finish. Michael got saved because of his brother and those awesome Wolverine chops.

Ice goblin was the shiz.

I'm still 3 episodes behind on season 3. I like the show but am getting burnt out on it. Having 2 seasons a year is over-kill and most of the competitions are been there done that. I also don't like them bringing back people who were eliminated.

Never seen this show before, but seeing the previews saying its a DC Comics challenge caught my attention. As a 30 years and going DC Comics fan...man, these are NOT designs that make for a DC Super Hero! Most of the designs range from more anti than hero anti-heroes to straight up villains. The Ice creature design I really dug (more so the illustration), but as a Flash villain. The underwater costume was a great concept in the illustration-that character would fit in perfectly with Aquaman stories-but the final design was lacking, especially the H2O on her chest. The volcano character(the Core?) would work great as an otherworldly, 4th World/New Gods character. The best two, and best ideas for Super Hero characters, were the lady with the red cape/1970s look and ESPECIALLY the one with the wings. The winged character would make for a great DC character with barely any effort.

My 2 cents.
