I've got a couple of backstraps in my freezer that I was given.
Was gonna fry some trout and shrimp this weekend for the playoff games. Figured I would fry up the backstrap as well.
What's the best recipe y'all got?
Thanks

don't fry it, cook it like a steak. Just be sure and use a citric marinade to soften it up and thank me later.

put some milk in a bowl and add whatever type of seasoning you like (tony's is easiest). Add meat to milk season combo and let marinate from a hour to 8 hours (just depends on how much time you have. You can even let it marinate overnight). Season some flour, batter up, and fry. FYI though, i prefer to cook it like a steak like others have said
