I always throw in a couple of baker's chocolate squares.

I took the easy way and used the Tabasco Chili starter the other day.Browned 2 lbs of ground meat and drained.I threw in some onions and cooked till clear.Seasoned it up with garlic powder, onion powder,Tony's and chili powder.Poured in the Tabasco starter(2 jars) and added water.Let it simmer about 45 minutes. It was very good.I will likely buy that again.

will definitely have to try, never heard of doing this before...

I add a Hershey bar. Really helps a medium sized pot of chili turn the corner. I call it "redneck mole'.

big pic is big so it's easier to read. This is the best chilli I've ever found. I cook it all the time everyone that eats it agrees.

No one uses Carol Shelby's chili mix? To me it's the best. I sometime will add a few onions but most of the time just a couple cans of seasoned tomatos and garlic, I will also add a beer.
