I can hear the black helicopters circling my house by just digging up this info. From the best I can tell the DHS has purchased 1.2 BILLION rounds in the last six months using the border control and customs as one of the fronts mainly in .223 but at least 450 million rounds of .40 jhp. With another 750 million rounds under contract to be delivered in the next four months including .223, 168 grain HPBT .308, .40 jhp, and 357 magnum. SSA has recently purchased 147,000 rounds of jhp. NOAA and the national weather service (WTF) has purchased 30,000 rounds of jhp to be sent to Ellsworth,Maine, New Bedford, Mass, Wall, NJ, and St. Petersburg, Florida. Here is one of the many contracts you can see on the .gov website. Link We wonder where the ammo is going, I think I have found a lot of it except for that pesky 22 rimfire

dude, you could support one just using tiger droppings alone. and it would give you marketing and advertising in many ways all over the country.

The .gov must get priority email alerts when ammo becomes available.

Exactly man. I just left an example but if your willing to do some research it will make you think that the government is creating the shortage.

IMO they are buying up ammo in preperation for a price increase/tax hike. I got that from my tin-foil hat, but sounds legit to me

1. The Gvt doesn't care about saving money. 2. The Gvt. doesn't pay taxes.

You're right about that

Would a tax hike on powder and brass not result in higher prices of ammunition? Either way, see #1
