What's even worse is that the ESPN3 streaming (at least in Austin via ATT Uverse) just gets worse and worse. It was bad enough when the picture would get blurry and hang once in a while. But now it hangs all the time and last game it even just went totally out for long periods with a screen saying the broadcast wasn't available and to try again later. What crap!

Our Roku box almost always streams good HD here, so I'd be interested to know whether Xbox or the PlayOn application on Roku (both of which offer ESPN3) are any better.
Anyone tried these?

I had huge problems with ESPN3 last game too. It would go from 4/5 bar quality to 1/5 bar quality in a couple minutes which is unwatchable. I have 50MBps internet here too, definitely not my internet.
