No, I set it up, I did the work, started the voting thread, kept up with the count all day and now y'all want more (most from people i dont recall seeing making suggestions until yesterday or today) Someone else can deal with it, I'm done. I'm sure stout was just lending a hand, throwing out some options, I doubt it was anything else.
Just a warning: You can't put things up to a long vote otherwise it gets out of hand. Get the most passionate opinions and let it be. After some point it's just ridiculous. I learned this with one of the tournaments I ran a while back.
And look at the Hottest Actress/Character thing. Out of hand with non-posters. It's part of the risk of doing something in the open.
Take a deep breath, it gets easier.

That and even after taking a vote people will still bitch about this a week later. Happened when I did the same thing on the Gaming Board. It's finally calmed down but people were wanting to bitch about the options AFTER the vote was cast and the board had been changed.
I took my time too. Let the suggestion thread stay up for like 3 weeks then the voting for a few days but we had a unanimous decision. This one is going to take more than a few days it seems.

You can't make the page Oscar Gold. To get that gold effect it is a gradiant of colors. The board is one color so the gold effect would not translate. It would be orangish yellow or doo doo brown.

How about to fix this and prevent it from happening again, we'll do a round 2 thread and the choices will be #1 and #2 in this thread's OP and the ones on page 11 of this thread. It will be stressed that these choices are final to prevent a round 3.
Does that sound good for everybody? Or will people still bitch about it?

Just make the thread. Needing someone with "clout" is BS. Chicken will do it as long as you link him the thread and prove that there was a vote taken and a choice was made. I would say do it tomorrow though and let this thread die tonight by not posting in it.
I won't be around in the morning so someone else needs to pick it up and run with it.
