So why did Duffy shoot his dealer and then Boyd said they would clean it up? I just feel like I missed something there

Boyd said something about the dealer not leaving there alive without them working out something. Duffy just said he didn't give a shite about the dealer.

He was pretty surprised when Duffy offed his own guy, so it was probably a peace offering to quell anything escalating...and I also think just a little tactical thing to build trust from Duffy to clean up a mess he made.
