I just use this. It's just a guideline. If we finish in 70's and 80's consistently, it definitely shows an issue.

Of course we want to be better and more efficient on offense. But using those numbers is a little lazy on your part. For instance, in those rankings, Alabama is 31st. Are there really 30 other offenses you would take before you take Bama's offense?

Bama's offense is not 31st it is first. Why? Because the level of athlete they put on the field makes sure their offense can never be overwhelmed by a team with superior athletic ability. Just like LSU. Oregon for instance, has a great offense, but when faced with team with superior athletes they slow way down.

Point being, there are not 70 or 80 teams with better offenses than LSU's. Not even close!

With their defense? Hell no. Without their defense? Hell yeah.

If you factor in the caliber of athlete on LSU's team it may be the worst.

Lazy? I said it's a guideline, and a useful one. For instance in the clubs NC years we finished 31 and 26. Over last 5 years we've finished 55, 112, 86, 86 and 85. Obviously the club has won a lot of games, and a CC...but you don't see a correlation between a much better O and taking that final step of an NC?

Dude no matter how you try and serve it up our offense has been bad. You keep trying to find ways to say how good it is. Are you Metts Mom?

Bama's offense is not first. They have a pretty good offense with a great defense and great coach.
Those 3 things have won them 3 NC's. The only thing we have out of those 3 are the defense side.

The numbers show otherwise. If you want to argue facts, go right ahead. Quit trying to pump sunshine into a bottomless pit. This fricking offense sucks arse, and no matter what you have to tell yourself, it doesn't change the numbers.

Oregon has a great offense. Couple that offense with Lsu's defense=championship.
