How would you play it/who would you target?

Eh, not sure, really. I want to see how Gordon does though the season.

The young vet route makes things harder to pinpoint.

For instance, this season Dell picked up 3 RFA: Gordon (ours), Lopez, and Anderson. The latter two have outplayed what people expected (questions about a Howardless Anderson abounded).

That's not really a plan I'd come up with, you know? Anderson was certainly a name of sorts, but Lopez wasn't getting many sniffs. Still, that's not what someone would expect. Plus, he got them via trade.

Teague fits the bill, but I don't see how Atlanta wouldn't match, so a trade would have to be there. Toney Douglas perhaps could be had given where Houston has chosen to spend their money. Douglas would be easier to get.

Brandon Jennings would fall into the higher dollar category. Perhaps Tyreke Evans. I'm not a believer in Tyreke at this point, but that doesn't mean Dell and Monty feel the same way.

As far as prying away a small forward type . . . I gotta think. This seems like a tall order. A strong corps of guards would lessen the burden on a SF, lowering the threshold needed to hold down the fort.

I also think we're not really seeing what the market is since we don't know how teams will react to the new CBA rules taking hold.

Your thoughts?
