It's a great story. The kid has worked his tail off and come miles from where he started, you just can't take that away from him.

But his footwork still has a looooong way to go and his late defensive rotations are killing us on that end.

He's earned the minutes he's played because we have no post options. Courtney is the only other option and he's just not getting it done coming off of his injury.

Is amazing he knows d rotations. Plenty of talented players never learn it.

It's a reason why Davis minutes have give down a little lately. He's learning that being athletic in nba won't make u the best.

I guess that's why not athletic players tend to be smarter.

I think this is the bigger thing... He *has* come a really long way. Especially for those of us who saw his 1-2 minute cameos in the previous seasons.

I think Matt Doherty said it best on the broadcast - "Imagine if this kid was a sophomore."

He has made amazing progress, and maybe he has more to go, but personally feel like he's too close to what his ceiling as a player is.

Thank you for being a voice of reason in here.

It is a good story and I think people are jumping on his bandwagon with that alone.

But lets be real his foot work is sloppy and his shooting is terrible. not to mention when he runs down the court he looks like he is about to fall over any minute.

Oh and euro sucks so like I said no real accomplishment there and they don't pay their professional athletes like we do. so odds are he wouldn't make that good a living over there because he would just be average.
