While it would be nice to bring him home, how much does Reed really have left? It seems the last couple of seasons, he's contemplated retirement.

Sharper joined the Saints in 2009, which was his 13th season in the NFL. He was drafted in 1997.

Ed Reed will be entering his 12th season next year in 2013. He was drafted in 2002.

Sharper had 9 interceptions in his 12th season, even though he only had 1 the previous year with the Vikings in 16 games.

Reed had 3 and 4 interceptions in his 10th and 11th season respectively.

Total Interceptions as of todaay in regular season: Sharper 63, Reed 60.

No Brainer. Make it happen Loomis!

We already have slow young guys back there. Don't need an old slow guy added to the mix.

Its funny how people mock probably the most dominant college defensive player of the last 10 yrs. His forced TOs, INTs, sacks, punt returns, etc. are mind boggling!

And 5'6"??? Come on man!
