It was glorious.

The dough was sweet. The sausage and cheese were tangy. Warm. Fresh. Terrific.

If every other kind is awful, I'll come back for just the sausage and cheese kolaches.

I hope this place does great business. I know I will do my part to keep them open.

After being in Houston a few years, I thought a kolache joint in BR would be golden

Just south of LSU, used to be Blimpie's?

My sister-in-law makes a huge batch of these every year for the holidays. Polish tradition.

I've had these in HOU before. Wish they would work there way down to ATL

Chorizo breakfast burrito was incredible.

Sausage and cheese is a classic, but the plain bacon kolache was huge and delicious.

The SO is from Houston and I had never tried them. Got 4 sausage and cheese and two SEC breakfast tacos this morning and they were delicious.

Food is great, people are friendly and it's extremely reasonably priced. Will go back again.

Went this morning

They have some serious kinks to work out, but the food is good. They'll survive because they make quality food. I really liked their salsa.

I went through and got some things earlier, great meal. I tried several items, all of which were absolutely amazing. One of my favorites is the Chorizo and eggs muffin. Hell, I like it all. I suggest everyone to try it out.

The Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Ranchero is a gift from the Bread Gods.

The guy says they have been busy as hell. I asked what he was gonna do for football season and tailgating, and he basically didn't want to think about it. Will probably have to order the day before for tailgates, I guess. I know for sure that they will become a staple at my tailgate. If only I could get them to incorporate an Armadillo Egg into a kolache, it would save me a shite ton of work.

I went there last week for the first time...I was not impressed.

Got two spicy sausage and cheese kolaches. They were lukewarm, at best, and way too much bread. The sausages tasted like they came out of a can. The bread was tasty though.

I also got a coffee...it was literally cold.

Probably won't be back.

I went yesterday and it was great. I had a bacon and cheese kolache and a chorizo, egg and cheese ranchero :fattie:. Both were absolutely fantastic. Very friendly service as well.

I'll be there before Sunday noon baseball at the box for sure.
