Cold hard logic burns like hot ice down in pumper-land.
Pumpers just want to distinguish themselves as "better" fans because they aren't as critical as those fans that are sick of seeing a sputtering offense continue to sputter 3 straight years. I think everyone agrees that change needs to occur. Its just that some fans have more confidence in the ability of Les to orchestrate that change. Others (like me) believe that he needs help making the necessary decisions to address the problem. And, I don't want to see another off season go by without there being significant constructive changes that make sense!

We need a better offense and some luck. Plain and simple. CLM can do that by simply hiring a quality OC, move Stud back to OL, Krag to QBs and simply concentrate on what he's good at: recruiting, motivating the team and preparing for each week. It can and should happen. If CLM decides to keep managing games with inept, he'll be forced to make a change or will be fired. LSU has plenty of money to cover his contract if changes aren't made next year. I don't expect a BCSNC next year, but we better see signs of improvement. Love CLM as a person, but can't stand him as a game manager.

Miles admitted there’s “a need to execute this offense in a more effective manner.” He added, “that’s something we’re all looking to get accomplished.”
How can this be? The positigers keep telling us there is nothing wrong with the offense yet Les is saying the offense has some problems. An honest admission from the head coach. The positigers heads might explode.

Any LSU fan will say our offense needs some work. We've been saying it for four years. If our O was as good as we wanted it to be, we'd be BCSNC in 2012 and 2013.

The longer nothing is actually done in the direction of making some staffing moves, the less chance I think there is of actual improvement next season. No improvement will increase the velocity of LSU's plummet from the ranks of football's elite. And will accelerate Les Miles' admitted happiness that underclassmen will declare early for the NFL, so he'll recruit all the harder on that selling point, result of which will further destabilize the fabric of our Tiger team identity, as no one sticks long enough for any serious rebuilding to occur - which will then all but cement the dreaded return of the legendary 90s. And then Les will happily retire, oblivious to the wake of destruction he will leave behind.
