in 2012 didn't LSU get the benefit of facing a few teams that lost their starting QB the week before?

Other than 2012 when Bama got a rematch I don't think any team was luckier than LSU 2007. 2 losse don't get you to the title game very often. 2 losses to unranked opponents.

we got team help not national media help.

we had to win a conf champ game amidst swirling rumors that our coach was leaving the morning of the game. and we had to win with our backup QB. how fortunate for us...

I'm not anti miles. I love the success he's had at lsu. I just want an improved offense.

I like having good banter unfortunately it is impossible with some posters on here bc they perceive every comment to be a slight on miles. I don't think you have to like every aspect about him to like him.

Damn you're sensitive. Again, where did I post that the offense needs no improvement? I made a statement about many of the so called "fans" of the program.

they don't blindly defend the head coach and that makes them negative?

Blindly attacking the most successful HC in wins in BCS/SEC football since 05 cause they don't like the O or a starter choice by the HC or some other segment of the team or particular game effort by the team on a continually basis makes them seem both college football mentally challenged and spoiled.

LSU football, overall, has never been as successful, healthy, and more worthy of support from its fans than it has since 05.

If that's not good enough for you, that's your call to make but "Negative Tiger Fans" does seem a fair call out for think kinda thought process. imo

Well the last thing I want is for LSU to fail. i love success. Success has probably led to more "negatigers" as some call them for fear that we could return to the 90's.

lol wut?

Saban has 3 'ships

Meyer has 2 'ships.

Mile has 1 'ship.

Miles and Chizik have the same number....does that mean Chizik is equal to the most successful?

That's a tad bit off. Last time I had checked Saban was sporting (4) Crystal balls and Meyer was sporting (2) Crystal balls.

sorry if i painted u with a broad brush. we take opposite viewpoints at times but you're not one of the ones with a blind agenda.

i want the offense to improve as well.

this is just laughable. BAMA has all the stars aligned to win next year as well. If that happens will all the pumpers say that's look too, or it's not reasonable to want to win a NC every year?

Seriouly, how in the hell can 3 NC in 4 years be lucky? Why do so many think that we have to accept not being first?

It's only laughable in that it's the true nature of college football...

How the hell did Alabama get in over Okie State last year? How did they get in over Florida and Oregon this year?

Is the BCS protecting the regular season or trying to pick the two best teams? The rules have been a moving target the past 14 years...

The underlying bias in the system is nauseating....Exactly how did Notre Dame's Defense get to be so stellar this year? pure media hype

But ya, Alabama has been a really great team, but they only had 1 undefeated season, and they only have 2 SEC Championships

they've done that in LESS years. Their RATE of winning it is higher.

yep, and in 7 years all that matters is they won the championship. Cling to your moral victories.

Yes...I left out the "in wins" part. My bad

So, we only have 1 Crystal ball and played for two since 05.

Where does that put us in BCS football since 05...99th percentile?

Seems like a high cotton area to live in as a college football program, but each to our own.

There's nothing very difficult or mysterious about what happens when LSU loses a game. Some fans criticize the coaches, the players, etc... Some fans criticize other fans. All are trying to find a way to assign blame, and you are no different than any of them.
