That's where the feds are screwing up. They greatly overestimate their own security. Those rounds are going to start going out on the black market as soon as they come in. If 1% of the rounds were pilfered, that would be 14 million rounds.

I shoot Wolf, Tula, Monarch... they go bang.

I have had really poor luck with Monarch ammunition. Four different guns, four different calibers and all had issues. My Del-ton upper won't cycle it, my M1 garand had a stuck case on the first shot, my remington bolt gun in .243 won't group with it nor will my .308 H&R crack barrel.
Now the same AR will go full retard with the slide stock while eating wolf.

I ended up with 200 rds of this in 9mm (brass) in a bulk buy I did of wwb and umc. I was planning going this weekend and shoot some to see how it performs.

I've used monarch in my pistols and never had an issue with it. I normally buy WWB, but I've probably shoot a few 100 rounds of Monarch in .40 and 9mm and never had a hiccup.

I've heard the primers to make the rest of the cartridge are what's holding up production.

But it could also be this:

I went to 3 shops today (was actually just looking for ammo cans) and they were mostly empty.

At the last and largest shop:
No .22 lr
4 boxes of .22 mags
4 boxes of WWB 9mm 100ct ($44.00)
No .380
No 2 boxes of Monarch .40
1 box of 9mm gold dots ($21 which I bought)
6 boxes of 9mm hydra shocks ($21 bought 1)
No .45
No .308
No .223/5.56

but they had quite a bit of .357 and .38 special.
Might have to look into a new revolver.
