This and this is also why I feel no pity for guys like Seau or those suing the league. These guys really think there is no risk in getting hit by a 6'2" 235 lb. guy that can run 40 yards in 4.5 seconds? Why doesn't the Ali family sue the boxing associations for what the sport did to him?
Just never understood how these people didn't know the "risk" involved in playing football. I guess since we live in a country where someone can sue and win because the coffee she bought at a McDonald's burned her

Doesn't seem practical....but something needs to be done to stop the players who know the risks from coming back later and suing. It is such a joke.

I don't think the NFLPA would agree to that, and if its not in the CBA it ain't happening.
ETA and why would Qbs be exempt?
Just back in week 10 Jay Cutler, Michael Vick, and Alex Smith all had to leave their games bc of concussions.
RG3 had one in the first 6 weeks of his NFL career.

Society does this type of thing all the time... I might be more mature at age 20 than most are at age 22, but they can leagally drink and I can't... same goes for voting, millitary, certain crimes, etc...
We're always putting 'a year on it'.

Disclosing concussions would do more harm than good.
More players would hide them in college, creating a bigger safety issue.
Then there are HIPPA regulations.

I can't remember who it was exactly, but a Miami LB said his favorite part of the game was hitting a RB so hard he dazed himself. It's a contact sport and EVERYONE that signs up to play knows the risk.
ETA: Like Lawrence Taylor said in Any Given Sunday, "I'll shake like a coconut on a tree for a million dollars".

Concussions and injuries don't bother me. Not having guaranteed contracts in the most profitable and most dangerous sport, with the shortest career out there is the real travesty IMO.
