I'll hang up and listen.....

I love my Hogue stock. It flexes some but I imagine most 10/22 stocks do. Especially since most are not glassed or bedded.

Any particular model Hogue? Is it not a heavy beast?

Good question, Judge. I'm close to pulling the trigger on this stock for a squirrel hunting 10/22. I only wish the stock was foldable. LINK

Sexy - is that an aftermarket fluted barrel? What model 10/22 did you start with?

I got a standard wood model for my 13th birthday. I added that stock, a tactical solutions barrel, Volquartsen trigger, and a Leupold scope and a couple other minor add one like the quick bolt release and extended bolt handle.
I love it.
I love it.

I have that exact setup. TacSol barrel, Hogue stock, Volquartsen trigger, KIDD bolt and spring, KIDD pins and buffers too.
That barrel is stupid accurate.
Hogue only makes one stock for the 10/22, I think.

I have a hogue stock on mine and really like it.

What do you want it for? I got mine to shoot tree rats and for when me and pops are sitting on the back porch calling our shots. Therefore, I needed it to be very light and accurate. An AR style or even tactical style .22 did nothing for me.

So on Josey's the only original part at this point is the receiver?

Judge, the stock on my 10-22 is still workin... It's only 40 or 45 years old though..

I'm going to buy a pawn shop model and then buy all new parts I guess..... Cheaper than a new one.

Thats what is so great about the 10/22. You can do anything you want to it.

The only, and I do mean only original part on mine is the stock. I put an add on LAsportsman for wanting to buy any 10/22 that was not stolen. Max price was $100. Got a guy to sell me his 1970 10/22 for $100. The barrel was rusted and pitted, trash can. The internals were worn as hell, trash can. The stock was fine and I gave it to my dad and I kept the receiver. Built the rest of the rifle 100% out of KIDD internals and a Volquartsen trigger. The barrel came from TacSol and is 16". I have maybe a little more into it than what Ruger sells their tactical model for but I guarantee you that mine will shot circles around it.

Wonder what a plain Jane model at a pawn shop would go for?
