Easy solution. Bank with a small local bank and link the accounts together to transfer money back and forth.
Or keep enough cash on hand in an emergency fund.

i agree with this. banking with a small local bank is a good idea anyway... when you need a loan having personal connection with the banker might have a value...
that is if you plan on getting a loan other than 3% fha loan...
