this is a great thread...just thinking about Marley and Me got me teared up when reading through the pages...i love my dogs!!

for me:

Marley and Me for sure...also

Forrest Gump - in Savannah when she tells him he is a daddy and he asks if the boy is smart

Up - first few minutes

The Notebook - the ending when they die in each others arms

Braveheart - when he realizes his wife is dead and the funeral scene...also when he gets killed at the end

Legends of the Fall - when Samuel dies in WW1

Passion of the Christ - like a faucet

Facing the Giants - at the end when the wife tells him she is pregnant after they had been trying for so long...and when the guy gives him the truck..

there are others...the Field of Dreams, Rudy, etc.

sports movies, my wife, my kids, my brothers/parents, my God, my dogs....

all things that should make any red blooded American man cry

I'm easy. The death of Spock and then the services (Amazing Grace on bagpipes gets me every time).
The death(s) of King Kong.
Armageddon (My only child is a girl).
And another not mentioned so far that may make me look like a chick..... A League of Their Own.
There are many others.

I'm like JD on Scrubs, I can shed a tear for anything if it strikes the right poignancy chord.

Not a movie, but In Breaking Bad when that little boy was riding his bike and Todd shoots him so there are no witnesses to the train incident.

Haven't cried in a movie since I was probably 10. I watched Schindler's list the other day and expected it to be a tear jerker but it did nothing for me. Overrated movie. I watched the pianist a few days after and I thought it was wayyyy better.
