I remember a couple years ago they started out 8-0(top 5) and people were calling for them to win the NC. they ended up with 3 or 4 losses that season including a beatdown from us. LOL
I'm glad Tajh is coming back because he always turns into a little bitch when he plays us.

The LSU win is the only reason I think we deserve to be top 10. Top 5 is a little much unless Nuk returns. Like you mentioned, in the past Clemson struggled against elite defenses (although we've held our own against FSU, the USC losses have been terrible). Clemson's offense performing like it did against LSU and that being voters' lasting impressions will help with preseason rankings.

I'm telling you guys, Clemson is going to wreck shite next year. If their schedule wasn't so difficult (they play both Georgia and South Carolina OOC), I would pick them to contend for a National Title.

I think yall should start in the 10-12 range, but preseason rankings obviously don't mean shite. just look at So Cal being ranked #1 last year

Wasn't Boyd the MVP of the army all American game when he was a senior in high school? Im pretty certain he was a UT commit until that idiot Kiffin came along and pulled his scholarship offer.
