I haven't read the whole thread but does anyone else think the Idol producers intentionally stacked the deck to insure that there would not be another WGG winner. There were no WGG's in the top 40 after several years of consecutive WGG winners. Also they seem determined to have a female winner because these guys are terrible. The guys aren't even close to these girls.

It's a term I see on other AI boards
WGG = White Guy w/Guitar
Ala, David Cook, Lee DeWyze, Scotty McCreery, Phillip Phillips.
I think the AI producers are intentionally trying to break this trend so the show doesn't become boring and predictable.

While I agree that the guys aren't as good as the girls this year, I think Curtis and Burnell are pretty good.
