I think when he knows his feet are over the fire, i.e. when we played Bama this year, he really is inventive with his offense. However, most of the time he is the opposite of inventive because he is scared to make mistakes.

I don't think he game plans like when he is playing Bama. When he thinks he wins easily, he has little game plan.

This x1000

If Miles prepared the team week in week out like he's preparing for Bama, I really don't think anyone would have a problem with the offense.

OF COURSE Coach Miles is an Offense Genius. THAT IS WHY HE WAS HIRED. He coached offense in the NFL. He PLAYED offense at Michigan. Coach Miles's knowledge of the science of Football Offense is matched only by Steve Spurrier in the SEC.

Saban? Miles FORGOT more about offense than Saban ever knew.

The LSU offense will be fine in Coach Miles's capable hands. All we need is for Les to have a little bit of that "Saban Luck" that's helped Little Nicky out so well these past couple of years.

Rest assured, LSU's success is assured.

This is the Golden Age of LSU Football, and, I'm feeling fine.

I want to believe that this is sarcasm....but I actually think there are some idiots around here that actually believe this.

I think the word "genius" is grossly displaced here, but I do believe that Miles can open the playcalling to more diversity and aggressiveness when he wants to. That's the frustrating part. He never wants to.

Agreed. See his OSU offenses. He didn't have a D to rely on then though.

Yes, on getting LSU to 3rd down and distance quicker than any other team in the SEC.
