It's a moot point. If tOSU was eligible or if Oregon didn't lose in OT to Stanford the SEC streak would have ended this year.

If the SEC is as strong as you say it is they will not have an unbeaten team again next year, so 2 unbeatens will go to the NCG over them. IF Bama goes unbeaten, they are a great team in a top heavy conference.
